The Al-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who endeavor to lend encouragement and understanding to families of alcoholics through the practice of the Twelve Step Recovery Program. It is their belief that changed attitudes can aid recovery. Alateen is the organization’s program for young people whose lives have been affected by alcoholism in their family.
