- The Department of Transportation (DOT) requires that an Authorized Employment Drug Testing Facilitator be present when the Screening Test Technician Training Video is being presented. A Drug Testing Facilitator is someone with at least one year’s experience working as a Screening Test Technician (STT) or training STTs. Without that experience, a Facilitator must complete a "train the trainer" STT course offered by OraSure Technologies or an authorized Q.E.D. Distributor or STT Trainer.
