Note on How to Save Money with this service
First, consider if you really need Offsite Drug Testing: Non-DOT organizations don't usually need to use Offsite Drug Testing Services. If you don't legally need to send employees Offsite, consider screening employees Onsite. There are two types of Onsite Testing. The first is performed in-house by you or your staff and the second is performed by a third party that comes to your location.
- For Non-DOT Organizations utilizing instant employee drug tests, our certified Confirmation Service is the most cost effective way to run your employee drug testing program. We can help you figure out all the details with our Employee Drug Testing Review.
- You can send in results for Confirmation that meet most legal requirements for Non-DOT organizations. Our Confirmation Service is SAMHSA certified. Instant Drug Tests with the use of SAMHSA certified Confirmation Laboratory services are the most cost effective and legal way to perform employee drug testing.
- If you use an instant drug test to screen an employee and they test positive, you can always then call in a TPA (Third Party Administrator) to perform the follow up. If this option is considered, the employee should be monitored so they don't have the option to adulterate the test.
- This option saves you money because you are only using a TPA for the positives and not for all the tests.
- It is not recommended that you send an employee to an offsite location if you have screened onsite first unless there are very strict monitoring and supervision of the employee because of the potential for them to adulterate or skip on taking the test altogether.
Second, If you really cannot perform the testing yourself you might consider having a TPA (Third Party Administrator) come in to conduct the test. In most cases the difference in the total price paid is $10. You can easily make up the difference in saving the loss of time of employees having to go to another location.
